Kali – **Rehomed**

Meet Kali, a gorgeous 10 year old labrador girl who was caught in a horrific house fire, that took the lives of 2 other dogs she lived with. Kali suffered very significant burns which are still healing ???? but honestly…. you cannot help but love her ❤
Kali is a beautiful natured, patient, kind, loyal and loving dog who loves a countryside walk and sticks with you and recalls perfectly if she gets a bit behind on a sniff.
Kali is brilliant in a home with existing dogs, and relies on them to guide her as to life being calm. Kali is not yet confident meeting dogs outside so needs to be given time to learn to socialise with nice dogs, who will be friendly to her. She is not at all aggressive but can be shy.
Kali is now housetrained, but needs to go out regularly, especially first thing and after breakfast. She has learned some commands such as sit and “on your bed” and she is quiet through the night outside the open bedroom door, but does like access to water overnight.
Kali does alarm bark at noises she thinks are the front door, but stops when told and this will settle down as she gets more and more used to her new home. Kali has been understandably quite upset by her predicament and injuries and may howl a bit when you go out, as she desperately wants her people to stay with her and she has never lived as an only dog, so company would be nice for when her people go out, and will cushion the blow of being left for periods of time. We would suggest gradually building up times being left, and that she would really like someone around most of the time.
Kali is in foster in St Albans, Herts, and is so deserving of a new life with kind, calm people who will lavish her with the love she is thriving on in foster, and who has a kind calm dog (s) who she can bond to and feel safe with.
