Siesta is a lovely gentle Lab cross girl, who is very easy care. She is 5 years old, but acts much younger, due to her playful nature.
Her ideal home would be with another dog, as she loves to play, but this is not a necessity.
She is calm and well behaved in the house, non-destructive, and house trained.
She does not like to be crated, but does not need to be as she is absolutely fine when left with the run of the house, either during the day for up to 4 hours, or at night.
Siesta is good on the lead, but is somewhat reactive to other dogs she sees outside, but this seems to be excitement rather than aggression but the signals are confusing. After a short period of acclimatisation, she is however fine with them. We expect that lots of socialisation will help her learn to say hello in a better way.
Siesta is currently in foster in Cambridgeshire, where she lives with 3 other dogs and 3 cats, and she gets on very well with everyone.
She can be a little grumbly when other dogs approach her whilst she is eating her dinner, but she is absolutely fine with humans touching her or her food. She takes treats gently, and does not snatch. Her favourite treat is cheese, but she also loves pieces of carrot, apple or cucumber.
Siesta loves a fuss, and often seeks attention for a hug and a snuggle with her humans.
Come and meet this sweet girl, if you think you can offer her a loving forever home.
