Meet the beautiful Spiro (brindle male) and Ravioli (tan and white male) who are approx 18 weeks old and are lurcher brothers.
These guys are in separate foster homes in Kempston and Letchworth respectively, with other dogs in family homes.
They had a shaky start with no interaction with the outside world, and as a result have been quite timid and fearful of everything and everyone, but are now starting to flourish and are ready for the next step. These boys are both beautiful gentle natured and love cuddles once they develop a bond, and are house and crate trained and fine to be left for a few hours.
Despite being wary they are both making huge practice out walking and are learning that with new experiences come lots of treats, and they LOVE treats so are coming on beautifully.
For their new homes they will need:
● good role model resident dog/dogs.
● calm homes with consistent boundaries but a positive and kind approach.
● children and families who understand to allow them to approach, not to be forced and to develop a bond over time, whilst being kept safe.
● can live with cats.
● families who will listen to guidance from fosterers to help their transition, including using crates to create a safe space initially.
