This gorgeous hunk is our boy Buckthorn who is about 3 years old and is the gentlest bull lurcher boy you could meet, in fact (don’t tell him we said so but he is the biggest wimp

).Buckthorn is an absolute sweetheart who is clean in the house, quiet for a few hours or overnight and is crate trained. His only downfall in the house is he is a scavenger…. if you leave anything vaguely food related out, he definitely assumes it’s his
Buckthorn is very very very dog friendly, he’s playful but respectful and loves to be with other dogs. Buckthorn has clearly had a difficult start with people, and although he has never shown any aggression or reactivity to humans, he’s very wary and worried and uses dogs to bolster his confidence. He’s a fab boy out and about, good in the car and good on the lead too.
Buckthorn is currently in foster in Arlesey, Beds and is ready for his forever family. He would like a quiet and calm home which is predictable and will help him feel at ease. He would ideally like another dog to live with who can show him the ropes, but in the right home would go as an only dog too. Buckthorn is not suited to a home with cats or small furries.
