12 marathons in 12 months and 2021km in 2021!!
This is what our wonderful volunteer Becky and Luna rescue dog Kiki will be doing in 2021. They will be joined by Nikki and Luna rescue dog Cooper once Nikki is recovered from recent surgery.
Please reach deep and sponsor if you can, this is going to be an incredible achievement. There are very few people that could imagine running one marathon let alone 12!!
We will be watching and reporting back on Cooper and Kiki’s journey over the coming months!
“We had BIG dreams at the beginning of 2020. Big running dreams and big fund raising dreams, but Covid and lockdown got the better of us, and although we were all able to still get out and about, the exciting events that Becky and Nikki planned to take on and conquer were a distant dream. Many being postponed or even cancelled. Becky and Kiki were awesome in the Autumn and completed an ultra locally along with our friends Gerry and Ole. Poor Cooper had to sit on the sidelines and cheer his friends on, as he watched Nikki go for a much needed operation, and then recouperation….which is ongoing…”
Online Car Boot Sale
We are holding an online Car Boot Auction through 2021, this is held on Facebook and is through the following link. Of course all monies raised for Luna go directly to help the animals.
We do have a general fundraising page on Facebook as well. Why not come on over and see what we are doing, join the group and see if anything takes your fancy.
Our latest newsletter is available here. It gives a round up of what we have been doing over the last 12 months along with information on the animals we help.
All at Luna Animal Rescue would like to truly Thank PC Dave Wardell and PD Finn for choosing us as their charity. We are overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for the money raised at the sponsored walk . We would also like to thank the organisers. We will use every penny on rescuing animals and ensuring their health comes first. Thank you again. Xxx
